School History (2006-2011)
The children benefit by having more than just input from their parents, but by teachers who love the Lord and are seeking him. This is such a unique opportunity that we are so thankful for here in Thailand.
Sometimes the job of TEACHER requires one to excel in interior decorating as well! A key requirment for our teachers? FLEXIBILITY! Kate and Foy are pictured here in front of our new school. Kate Dale had joined our teacher team and brought her Kentucky talents to play in our ever growing line of wonderful teachers.
Mary Jo arrived in March of 2007 and served for three school years. Her love for young children helped add creativity to our Elementary program. Mary Jo also lead the middle/high school students in the Beauty and the Beast drama production.
Covenant Church is still using the Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations Mary Jo made to decorate for celebrations.
The needs of the school have steadily moved towards that of finding teachers who specialize or have preferences in different subjects and areas.
Kristen Trace arrived near the end of 2007 and is currently serving as principal. She is passionate about teaching math. Over the past 2 years Kristen has been working on developing the cooperative so that it can serve more families, including local Thai fammilies. Her vision is to see the co-op established as the first Bilingual school in NE Thailand.
Jens Paulson served as a Bible and History teacher for 8 months after graduating from Northwestern Bible College in MN. We are thankful for Jens love for God's Word. He helped build a Biblical world-view perspective by walking through Total Truth by Nacy Percy with our senior class, before they graduated.
